Steve Adger brings decades of leadership and business development experience to his role as Senior Advisor at FOCUS Investment Banking. His extensive background spans multiple industries, including financial services, real estate, and capital markets, making him a versatile and invaluable asset to clients navigating complex M&A transactions.

Before joining FOCUS, Steve served as Managing Director at Donnelley Financial Solutions for nearly 24 years. During his tenure, he specialized in global capital markets financial document management and printing, assisting clients in achieving seamless and efficient documentation for major financial transactions.

Prior to Donnelley, Steve was a Sales Representative at Partners Title Company for nearly six years, where he honed his expertise in business development and client relationship management. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found Texas State Title Company, where he spearheaded business development initiatives.

Steve’s career began with Adger Investments, where he spent 16 years as a Partner. In this role, he oversaw a diverse portfolio of ventures, including real estate brokerage, residential lot development, home building, convenience store operations, and the breeding and racing of thoroughbred horses.

Steve enrolled at Menlo College in Menlo Park, CA, and after his first semester he enlisted in the Texas Air National Guard.  He was honorably discharged after six years of service in 1974, reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.  In 1968 he enrolled in the business school at the University of Texas in Austin, where he was an active member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a punter on the twice National Champion Texas football team (’69 & ’70).
