Craig Ladkin, a FOCUS Managing Director since 2015, has 25 years of experience managing complex financial, merger and development transactions between private, public and non-profit sectors in a variety of industries and international jurisdictions. He is a senior member of our Advanced Manufacturing team.

Over his diverse career, has advised on transactions across the full spectrum of investment banking, serving a wide variety of industries and technologies. At FOCUS, Craig leads the Electronics team, while covering a broad array of businesses within the manufacturing, technology and general industrial sectors, including contract manufacturing, advanced manufacturing and automation, software, GIS, unmanned systems and robotics, aerospace and defense and medical devices.

Craig entered investment banking in the 1980s upon joining Nomura Securities in London to help establish their derivatives and risk management operations. Later he joined AIG to build a client base in Scandinavia, northern Europe, and Canada, managing hundreds of groundbreaking transactions up to $1.5 billion.

Craig has advised and managed transactions for the Treasuries of Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Belgium, Denmark, Canada, the World Bank, IFC, African Development Bank, EDF, Statoil, Hydro-Quebec, BC Hydro, Ontario Hydro and many multi-national corporations and financial institutions.

He was President of SOAR Oregon, an investment company dedicated to investment in, and development of the unmanned aerial systems ecosystem and UAS test range capabilities.

Craig holds an MBA in International Finance and Marketing from the London Business School in London, England. He also holds a BSc in Geotechnical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He holds Series 63 and 79 licenses.

Craig lives with his family in Bend, Oregon, nestled in the Cascade Mountains. Outside of work, he enjoys nearly every outdoor activity imaginable, as well as hosting a good barbecue with family and friends.
