Darragh Scanlon is an Associate at FOCUS. He has over five years’ experience advising on both buy- and sell-side transactions across the US, UK and Ireland, spanning a range of industries. Scanlon has developed strong transaction experience and sector knowledge across software, agribusiness and food, financial services, consulting, and advanced manufacturing.

Previously, Scanlon worked with Key Capital and IMAP (Capstone) in their corporate finance teams and gained M&A experience with Delaney Locke. In 2024, Scanlon was included in the Irish Independent’s “30 Under 30” list in recognition of his work with an agri-tech startup. In 2025, he was subsequently recognized as “Young Innovator of the Year” by the AIBF (All-Ireland Business Foundation).

Scanlon holds first-class honors degrees in both a BSc in Finance and an MSc in Finance (Asset Management) from University College Cork. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with Chartered Accountants Ireland.
