Shan Desai is a Principal in the Technology Services group at FOCUS Investment Banking, with specialized experience advising on sell-side engagements for managed service providers (MSPs). He has been involved in several transactions since joining FOCUS in 2021, working engagements through the entire deal lifecycle — from leading financial modeling and analysis, to conducting buyer outreach, managing due diligence, and closing. In addition, Desai dedicates time to transactions across the broader Technology Services group and the Advanced Manufacturing group.

Prior to FOCUS, Desai worked in a finance role at Applecart, a growth-stage technology company in New York, where he gained experience in investor reporting, financial due diligence, and capital raising.

Desai holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he double-majored in Finance and Data Science. He holds the FINRA SIE and maintains Series 63 and Series 82 licenses.
