Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC (July 1, 2008) – FOCUS LLC, a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, divestiture and corporate finance services, named Jonathan Wilfong as its new southeast regional managing partner.

With almost 40 years of M&A experience, Wilfong will lead the FOCUS Southeast regional office of more than 10 investment bankers. Additionally, he will serve as team leader for the newly established FOCUS energy group.

Wilfong has participated in more than 100 transactions, which included capital formation and M&A transactions that aggregated in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining FOCUS, he served as senior managing director of The March Group LLC, a Nashville-based private investment banking firm, closing deals in the chemical, oilfield and wellhead supply, equipment manufacturing and healthcare industries.

Previously, Wilfong was co-founder of OrthAlliance and The Plastic Surgery Company, both physician practice management companies, and Ouch.com, an Internet-based medical supply superstore. He started his career with Price Waterhouse and in his 26 year tenure with that firm served as a partner for over 13 years.

Wilfong is a CPA and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Carolina University. He also participated in the executive program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
