Washington, DC (June 28, 2010)FOCUS LLC, a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, divestiture and corporate finance services, announces that Abraham Garver has joined FOCUS as a principal in its Washington, DC office.

Mr. Garver has over 20 years of industry experience in acquisitions and divestitures, business valuation, corporate accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, business development and executive compensation for Fortune 1000 and large private companies.

According to Doug Rodgers, CEO and managing partner of FOCUS, “Utilizing a unique combination of M&A, financing and business development skills, Abraham has previously worked as a principal on numerous transactions. We are thrilled that he has joined the FOCUS team.”

Prior to joining FOCUS, Mr. Garver was a Vice President at Marsh & McLennan. At Marsh, Mr. Garver was responsible for consulting on the financing of over $3.5 billion dollars of nonqualified benefit and other post employment liabilities. He also worked with the Company’s Private Equity M&A (PEMA) business.

Prior to Marsh, Mr. Garver was an investment banker, and senior business valuation consultant with Merrill Lynch & Co., and Ernst & Young LLP, respectively.

Mr. Garver holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and a Masters in Finance, from the University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School.
