Washington DC (July 30, 2012) – FOCUS LLC, a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, divestiture and corporate finance services, announces that Leonard Pomata has joined FOCUS as a Senior Advisor in its Washington, DC office.

In June 2009, Mr. Pomata was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to the Cabinet post of Secretary of Technology where he was responsible for the entire Information Technology and Telecommunications infrastructure.

Currently, Mr. Pomata is an Information Technology Consultant, providing strategic consulting services to facilitate market entry and expansion for clients including Oracle, WebMethods and Digicon. Additionally, he has served on Public Sector boards including Virginia Information Technology Investment Board, GMU Board of Visitors, GMU Foundation and NYU-Poly Board of Trustees.

Previously, Mr. Pomata served as President and CEO of PRC, Inc., a subsidiary of Litton Industries. In this position, he was responsible for the firm’s total operations and effected major changes in the government marketplace and the expansion of the commercial market. Under his leadership, PRC achieved Level 5 CMM in 1998 and was one of the first corporations to achieve this level, as well as achieving a Top 10 position in most Federal government markets as a systems integrator.
