Washington, DC (September 12, 2006) – FOCUS Enterprises, Inc., a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, and corporate finance services, announced that their Managing Partner, Southeast Region, George Shea, has been named to the Atlanta Venture Forum’s (AVF) Board of Directors.

George Shea has over thirty years of broad industry experience in acquisitions and divestitures, corporate finance, business development, strategic planning, marketing, sales and operations for public and private companies. Utilizing a unique combination of operating management expertise and major M&A, financing and business development experience, he has acted as a principal or facilitator in over 100 transactions. Mr. Shea has been an active member of AVF for the past 15 years. This past month, Mr. Shea was asked to become a member of AVF’s Board of Directors.

Membership in the Atlanta Venture Forum is limited to venture capital and private equity investors and those groups that provide products or services to these investors, including attorneys, commercial banks and investment bankers. The Board is comprised of an elite group of 25 anaging partners from venture capital and private equity firms.
