Washington, DC, (July 2, 2019) – FOCUS Investment Banking, a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, divestiture, and corporate finance services, announced today that Bob Maiden will join the firm as a Managing Director and the Human Capital Management Team Leader, adding this sector to the firm’s list of key vertical specialties that now include Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, Capital Financing, Energy, Government/Aerospace/Defense, Healthcare, Human Capital Management, Technology and Telecom.

With more than 35 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and human capital management roles, Bob brings a powerful combination of business acumen and market-specific experience. As co-founder and President, Bob led Maxwell Training Centers, a brick-and-mortar (workforce) training firm later transformed with a web-based services model. After 16 years of growth, Maxwell was acquired by inVentiv Health and Bob managed the integration and stayed on as President of the business unit, his original two-year stint extended to seven years. He moved to the advisory role in early 2014, providing contract CFO and M&A advisory services for lower middle market businesses and then focusing solely on investment banking services for the staffing and workforce management industry. Most recently with Stony Hill Advisors in the Philadelphia region, Bob is joining FOCUS with the background, experience and network to build a thriving human capital practice leveraging the FOCUS platform and national footprint.
