FOCUS Investment Banking, a national middle market investment banking firm providing merger, acquisition, divestiture and corporate finance services, announces that John W. Grady, located in Austin, Texas, has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Southeast region and Abraham Garver has joined as a Managing Director in the Northeast region.

Before joining FOCUS, John W. Grady was CEO of Invenio Solutions based in Austin, TX, a firm specializing in targeted marketing, lead generation, full cycle sales, and customer service. He purchased the original company in 2002 and led growth from $1.2 to $12 million in 2010. That year, he created Invenio by acquiring two other companies and led growth from $18 to $45 million over the next five years. Plus, Mr. Grady spent six years as a marketing manager at Dell Computers; nine years at Ralston Purina as a marketing director in cat foods, dog foods, human foods, and soy protein products; and two years as a Unit Sales Manager in Procter & Gamble’s Beverage Division.

Before joining FOCUS, Abraham Garver worked 20+ years on sell-, buy-, and capital-raise assignments for over 50 public, private, and Inc. 500 fastest-growing companies. Recent M&A assignments include cross-border work for an U.K./India headquartered seller, an asset portfolio review for a Top-10 Internet retailer, followed by a divestiture of five e-commerce businesses to three strategic buyers, as well as both buy- and sell-side work, for Inc. 500 fastest-growing SaaS businesses.

In addition, Mr. Garver frequently appears on Bloomberg, Fox Business, and at NASDAQ, and has published over 110 articles in FORBES, Seeking Alpha, Yahoo! Finance, and other media outlets. Previous employers include Merrill Lynch’s M&A Technology Group and Ernst & Young’s Business Valuation Group.
