FOCUS Investment Banking Advises Fresh Managed IT on Its Acquisition by CyberlinkASP

Washington, DC (March 3, 2026) FOCUS Investment Banking (“FOCUS”), a leading middle-market investment bank, is pleased to announce that it served as exclusive financial advisor to Fresh Managed IT (“Fresh IT”), a Birmingham, Alabama-based managed services provider (“MSP”), on its acquisition by CyberlinkASP (“Cyberlink”), an Advanced Solutions Provider specializing in cloud and IT solutions for small and mid-size businesses. Cyberlink is backed by Seaport Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in lower middle-market companies.

Fresh IT provides outsourced IT services including network and device management, cloud hosting, cybersecurity, and VoIP solutions to approximately 150 customers across diverse end markets such as healthcare, construction, and restaurants. The company has particular expertise supporting multi-location restaurant operators, delivering scalable IT infrastructure, proactive monitoring, and predictable cost structures that reduce internal IT burden and enhance operational efficiency.

“We’re excited to partner with Fresh IT and strengthen Cyberlink’s MSP business,” commented Chris Lantrip, CEO of Cyberlink. “The acquisition strengthens our management team with the addition of John Wiles, who brings extensive technical leadership and experience.”

The acquisition positions Cyberlink to accelerate growth and expand its service offerings, leveraging Fresh IT’s strong customer relationships, industry specialization, and experienced leadership team.

“Seaport is thrilled to see Cyberlink complete its third acquisition and continue to broaden its service offering and customer reach through M&A,” added Scott McCormack, Partner at Seaport Capital. “Fresh IT helps to further expand Cyberlink’s end markets.”

“Fresh IT has built an excellent reputation as a trusted managed services partner with deep vertical expertise and long-standing customer relationships,” said Abraham Garver, FOCUS Managing Director. “We were honored to advise the Fresh IT team on this successful transaction and help position the company for its next phase of growth with Cyberlink and Seaport Capital.”
