Jason Welham joins FOCUS as a Managing Director. Previously, Jason was a Director at Lazard providing strategic advice across the fintech and payments sector to corporates and financial investors.

Before joining Lazard, Jason was Corporate Development Manager at VocaLink and led large aspects of the transaction which resulted in the sale to Mastercard announced in 2016.

Prior to this, Jason worked at a big four firm, where he specialized in Transaction Advisory Services advising a range of clients across various sectors including Financial Services, Technology, Media and Telecommunications.

Jason is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, ACA and attended Loughborough University where he obtained a BSC in Business Economics & Finance.

Based in London, Jason enjoys spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, who is originally from Oregon, have two children. Outside of work, Jason is a longtime supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and enjoys following and attending Boise State Broncos football games and St. Louis Cardinals baseball games whenever he has the opportunity.
