Patrick Dooley, a FOCUS Managing Director, is a chartered accountant with over 10 years’ experience in corporate finance across M&A, debt funding and equity fundraising. Dooley held senior positions in EY and PKF before joining FOCUS.

Dooley’s expertise is in supporting SME businesses to realize their strategic ambitions and provide advice and assistance in preparing both the company and business owner/entrepreneur for significant value events.

Dooley has in-depth industry knowledge and experience having completed a number of significant transactions across a range of sectors including healthcare, software, technology, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics.

Dooley previously worked in a private equity firm and more recent experience has focused on advising businesses and owners on growth options and re-organizations available in the private equity market across Europe.

Dooley holds a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from DCU and a MSc. in Accounting from TUD. He co-founded a tech start-up company which was successfully disposed of to a trade buyer in 2018.
