Marco Chan, MBA
Marco Chan is currently the managing principal and CEO of V2 Leadership Group. V2 guides companies on the path to expand their business on both sides of the Pacific.
Chan founded V2 Leadership Group in 2003, a consulting practice which helps build a sound foundation for the success of North American businesses expanding into Asian markets and Asian businesses entering North America. Recognizing the need to develop cross-cultural skills to work successfully across geography, V2 incorporates such training into its client offerings in North America and Asia.
Prior to founding V2, Chan held numerous executive roles with FedEx Express in the United States, China and other parts of Asia. Chan worked at FedEx for 20 years after 13 years in management at Transworld Airlines (TWA). During his tenure at FedEx, Chan led several initiatives central to the growth of the FedEx global supply chain logistics platform. He was tasked to set up the Business Logistics Services in Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia, including the opening of the First Parts Bank in Singapore. He also served as the first General Manager ofFedEx China, where he established ground and air operations in 13 cities.
Chan is a seasoned and innovative leader with broad-based experience in Global Supply Chain and Logistics operations and in helping US companies expand into China and other parts of Asia. In leading supply chain efforts, he has consistently sought out opportunities for process improvement by leveraging advanced information technology and automation systems. He maintains a strong contact network both in China and in the North American logistics sector.
Chan earned his BBA degree from University of Hawaii, Honolulu, Hawaii, and his MBA from Rivier College, Nashau, New Hampshire.
