Evans Love, a Principal at FOCUS, joined the firm in 2016 and is a member of the Software and Information Technology / Healthcare and Life Science teams. He has gained a tremendous amount of experience working on transactions with various bankers at FOCUS over the past few years. His responsibilities have included crafting and evaluating target lists for buy-side and sell-side engagements, financial modeling and analysis, researching and forecasting market trends, and assisting in business development.
Evans serves on the Board of Directors of the Tombstone Historama Corporation where he acts as the Treasurer of the historic O.K. Corral Museum and The Tombstone Epitaph Newspaper. Additionally, Evans is the CFO and a member of the Board of Directors of the Wallflower – a cocktail bar and restaurant in El Paso, Texas. Prior to joining FOCUS, Evans worked as the Innovator-In-Residence at the Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital Innovation Hub and before that as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the Krasnow Institute's Center for the Study of Neuroeconomics at George Mason.
Evans graduated summa cum laude from his Master’s program in BioBusiness at the Georgetown University, and he holds a dual bachelor degree in Economics and Neuroscience from Middlebury College. Evans is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a General Securities Representative (Series 7 and 63), and he is also a CFA Level I candidate in the process of completing the Wall Street Prep Financial & Valuation Modeling Program.
